How much does painting cost in South Florida?
Interior painting starts at $350, exterior at $2,500, pressure cleaning at $150, drywall repair and finishing at $150, and cabinet refinishing at $1,800. Wallpaper and popcorn removal starts at $2 per square foot, epoxy flooring at $3 per square foot, and fence painting at $2 per linear foot. Colour consultation comes free with your project, and commercial work is quoted to the job. Every published figure is a starting point rather than a flat quote, because a single room and a whole house are not the same job. We publish them so you can tell whether we are in your range before you spend twenty minutes on the phone.
-
Is the estimate really free?
Yes, and it is written. We come out, measure, talk through the finish and put a number in front of you before anything begins. There is no charge and no obligation whether or not you go ahead.
-
Are you really open 24 hours?
We are open 24/7, every day. Most contractors in this market close at five, and a burst pipe or a rental turnover on a Sunday night does not wait until Monday. Call whenever it happens.
-
Do you handle HOA colour approval?
Yes, and it is part of the colour consultation, which comes free with your project. We pull your community approved palette before you choose, put your candidates on a board with the trim and the roof tile, and supply the product names and codes the committee expects. If a submittal comes back rejected we redo it.
-
How long does a repaint take?
A single interior room is usually a day. A whole-house interior runs several days to a week depending on size, ceiling work and how many colours are changing. An exterior is typically three to five days of work, but that is weather dependent between June and October. We give you a schedule with the estimate rather than after you have committed.
-
When is the best time of year for exterior painting?
The dry season, roughly November through May. From June through October an afternoon storm can arrive inside twenty minutes and take a fresh coat with it. We still work through summer, but we start early, watch the radar rather than the forecast, and will tell you honestly when a week is not worth beginning.
-
Do you guarantee the work?
We stand behind it with a workmanship guarantee. If our work is not right, we come back and make it right. That applies to every service we offer.
-
What paint do you use?
We buy from Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore and PPG, and we choose the line based on where it is going. A coastal exterior takes a different product from an inland one, and a bathroom takes a different finish from a bedroom. We tell you which product is going on your house before we start.
-
What is the difference between pressure cleaning and soft washing?
Pressure is right for concrete driveways and walkways. It is wrong for barrel tile roofs, screen enclosures, painted walls and wood, all of which get soft washed instead: low pressure and a cleaning solution that does the work chemically. High pressure on a tile roof shortens its life and on a screen it tears the mesh. Knowing which surface takes what is the whole skill.
-
Do you clean before you paint?
Always, on exteriors. Paint applied over chalk, salt or biological growth fails at the adhesion layer where no amount of good product can save it. When pressure cleaning is part of a repaint it is priced into the job rather than charged twice.
-
Is financing available?
Financing is available on larger projects. The estimator on our financing page shows roughly what a project of a given size costs per month at a rate you choose. It is a maths tool rather than an offer of credit, and your real rate and term come from the lender.
-
How do I claim the 10% offer?
First-time customers save 10% with code FIRST10. Give us the code when you call or request an estimate and it will appear on your written estimate before any work begins. Full conditions are on our promotion terms.
